Florida is a closed primary state. Only registered party members may vote for their party's candidates. However, all voters — regardless of party — can vote in nonpartisan races such as School Board, City Offices, and Judicial Offices.

Vote by Mail
- Request your ballot online at flaglerelections.gov
- Request deadline: August 6, 2026
- Return by mail or drop box by Election Day
- Note: Florida mail ballot requests expire — renew yours if it's been more than two years

Request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot
Florida law requires voters to renew their vote-by-mail request after every two general elections. If you requested a mail ballot in 2022 or earlier, you must renew your request to receive a ballot for 2026.
